Her Jewels
Madame Lantin often took her jewelry out and showed it to her husband. Sometimes she even put the jewelry ON her husband and laughed. What do you think of Madame Lantin's actions and words when she did this? (Student ID).
I think that she is a social lie because she knew that the jewelry wasn't baubles. So she just made all of this to make her husband happy. However, she knew that all the jewelry was a gift from the other man and she was making him a joke.She knew was going on in her way to the theater.964876
Madame Lantin is trying to convince her husband with her actions that she is the perfect wife because she knows how to run a house, manage her time and be very affectionate to him. And that's why sometimes she even put something on him to laugh at him, but after that she starts kissing him.987923
Madame Lantin was a respectful “lady” which she is trying to convince her husband, but he didn’t want wear those jewels because it was uncomfortable for him and it was “fake gems”. Also, Madame Lantin was pretending to love him by kissing him show him the sweetness of a woman, after all, the reality is that she was cheating on him by other guy that he was sending jewels and probably was a rich man.(965354)
I think she was pretending that she is innocent because she was cheating on him. she was always happy and with money because she was selling her body to make money. He knows everything after her wife died because of the jewelry. When he went to sell them he found out that they were real and cost a lot money.983947
985145 I think Madame was trying to convience her husband that the jewels were fake by doing this action. She was pretending that she was very happy with him and with fake jewels because she knew that he couldn't get real jewels for her. However, she knew that they were real that is why she was telling her husbad that she loved them even though that they were fake.
I think that she laughed because she knew that the jewelry wasn't fake ,she also had everything she probably ever wanted which it was a house ,a luxury life ,the love of his life ,and the jewelry .she laughed but she didn't laugh because she though that her husband was an idiot and that he would never find out about what she was doing ,she laughed because in a way she had the perfect life, the life and things that any women would dream of .987601
